Marie frowned, "The furniture was my mother's." she said flatly, "And I collect porcelain dolls. Not so much anymore, but I used to love them. Dearly."

"I was joking," Cat assured, looking around. "It's quite nice, really. Better than my cave back home..."

Marie cracked a smile. "The gentle femnimity isn't going to choke you, I hope." she said to Jerm.

Marie looked at Cat oddly. "Figurative or literal?"

"Take your pick," Cat muttered dryly. "If the lack of culture doesn't kill you, the attack kitten will."

Marie nodded thoughtfully. "You should stay over sometime. Like, when the circus isn't in town," she said.

"Oh, the chaos that will ensue..." Cat stroked her invisible beard maniacally. "We should do a number on Jerm. Make him less...nerdy."

Marie's eyes lit up. "Oh yes. I've got a lovely top in my closet if cross-dresser is the look you're going for," she said devilishly.

Cat coughed. "I could bring the makeup set that I've never used..."

Jerm held up his hands, shaking his head as he backed away slowly. "No, no. That's perfectly fine..."

Marie grinned darkly. "You suuuuuuure?"

"Cause we can always get you while you sleep..."

"Yes, yes...sleep with one eye open>"

"...so we can put mascara on the other one," giggled Cat. "you cannot escape!"

"I've got some rope in my closet." Marie offered.

She paused.

"Don't ask."

"I won't even go there," Cat said, giggling still.
