Marie raised an eyebrow, and took a swig of her OJ.

I send a ball of psionic energy at Marie’s feet, intentionally missing. It makes a small explosion as it hits the floor. “I will warn you. I am not a force to be trifled with,” I say, “Or do you need to find out firsthand my power?”

Marie's eye-twitched.

She choked on her orange juice and sputtered, coughing.

"Oh...kay....okay" she hacked, "J-Jerm? I'd really love to live to have a sweet sixteen...So, um...halp?"

Jerm gulped as well, trying to think of a way to keep this newcomer calm. Cat would kill him if anything happened to the lab while she was out. "So...um...what exactly am I supposed to help you find? Your past? How can I do that?"

I then turn my gaze to Jeremy. “Alas, I do not know what we may find, but it is within this building.”

Jeremy still couldn't grasp how Eclipse knew this, but he knew better than to argue. "Uhm, okay. There might be some things....downstairs?" His voice raised as he spoke; he knew he was taking a huge risk here. If anyone ever found out about the Comp...and word got out...

“Hmph! Useless human. Whatever is down here will not stop me,” I say. I suspect a trap. I begin levitating and looking around, cautiously and alertly.

Jerm shakes his head slowly, mainly in disbelief. "There aren't any traps, I assure you. If there were, the klutz upstairs would set them off every night.
