Tournament of DOOOOOOOOM!!!!

It was a month till the next kung fu tournament and Jon's dad was working the heck out of him.

"Come on Jon! Push, Push" barked Jon's Dad [lol after righting this it sounded funny lol w/e]


"DAD! I'm doing the best i can!" retorted Jon.

Jon had been fighting this virtual fighter for the past six hours now and he was very exhausted. His eyes started to shift and claws started to grow from his fingers as he punched the dummy fighter clear out of the virtual arena.

His father said, sort of hesitantly, "Alright son, i guess we can take a break and get some sleep."

"We will continue this tomorrow at the same time." he added sternly.

oh boy, i just can't wait Jon thought as he went to go sit down.

And so Jon basically worked out and practiced everything he learned for the next 4 weeks, getting a day off every now and then.

[maybe... 3 days before the tournement]

Jon had just finished his training and washed up for a night out on the town.

[go ahead and bump into him or something cuz at this point he is strolling through the city looking at various stores and shops.

"Oh man, oh maaaan...I'm such an idiot! HOW could I forget about my IPC homework?!"

Marie was riding her bike top-speek downhill, the wind whistling in her ears, hair whipping at her face.

"Gotta get to the lockers..."

Jon was about to turn the corner toward a local arcade, when he saw this sudden blur go whizzing by him.

"EXCUSE ME!!!" Jon yelled at the girl riding the bike, who nearly ran into him.

Alarmed, she began to skid to a stop, the bike wobbling beneath her. Fighting for control (and ultimately losing it), Marie slipped off the curb, popped an impressive wheelie, and slammed right into a telephone pole on the other side of the street.

Being the kind hearted person he is, he went over to the girl. Not to apologize, for he felt that she deserved that, but help the girl back on track.

"Here, let me get that..." he said as he went to pick up the bike.

Marie raised her head and watched Jon pick her bike up.

"Thanks. You scared me outta my wits!" she laughed, getting up and dusting off her jeans, "Kinda jumpy, I guess."

Jon, with his curiosity kicking in, asked, "Why are you in such a rush?"

"And why are you so jumpy?" he added

The teen frowned, "Well, I kinda sorta forgot my book at school...and I know how to sneak in the locker halls...but I'd like to get there before it's waaay too late. I'm jumpy cuz I need to maintain a straight A average."

He raised an eyebrow at the mention of maintaining an A average.

"Well, I am new to this place so I guess it would be good to check out the school before i start."

"I'll come with you." he stated determinedly.

She shrugged, "Cool by me." she said, mounting her bike. "It's just a couple of blocks down this road."

"You go on ahead I have some 'things' to do." he replied mysteriously.

Marie shrugged, "Whatever floats your boat, man." she said, beginning to pedal.

Jon walked into a dark alley and transformed into a werewolf.

Then he jumped all the way to the roofs and began to follow the girl to the school.

I wonder how she will feel about meeting a werewolf... he thought as he tracked her. Perhaps i should arrive there way before she does and transform back to a human

Marie pedaled along the sidewalk, the streetlights illuminating her face in intervals.

After whizzing down the hill, she veered into the parking lot and hitched her faithful steed to the bikerack.

Jon had been waiting, and felt it funny to do the following:

"HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWLLLL!!!!!!!," Jon howled as he jumped at Marie first in werewolf form.

But, in midair, he transformed back into his human form and landed gracefully infront of Marie.

This time, her halt was more graceful in nature.

"...Well, there's somethin' ya don't see everyday."

Due to past experiences...nothing much surprised her anymore.

"You know its sometimes considered rude to leave someone waiting." Jon said jokingly.

"So, what's the plan on actually getting inside?"

Marie grinned, "Pardon my impertinance. And as to you question...simple."

She jumped off her bike and sauntered to the locker hall.

"It's locked, but around back, there's a closet with nothing in it. There's also a hole in the back wall of that closet that connects to an unused locker that doesn't close all the way. Anyone could travel to and from that closet and locker, but very few know about. I only know because I got shut in the locker and followed it out through the closet."

"This school doesn't have its own security network?" Jon asked.

"Besides, why wouldn't a janitor shut the locker completely or something." he added.

This could be my own little hideout he thought as he gave a little smirk, but quickly tried to hide it in a fake cough.

"*Cough cough*"

"Of course it does. But the closet is so out of date that it hasn't been checked in forever. Besides that, the lock on it is broken. The locker is a little bent, and nobody has brought it up to the janitor."

"Well, lets go then," Jon stated as he walked in changed to a wolf and crawled through the ajar locker.

"I'm going to kill him when I get back," Cat muttered under her breath as she opened one chemical drawer after another. "Him and his stupid experiments..." She hissed in frustration, her lip curling up to show a bit of too-sharp canine tooth. "I swear, if he ever does this again...I warned him not to do it, I did! But, nooooo! Mister Computer Geek has to mess with my reflexes and whatnot..." She slammed a drawer shut, her pupils slitting. "Never again. Never. 'Cause if he does it again, I'm gonna turn into the freakin' cat..." She paused in her ranting as she heard a metallic pounding. "Oh. Crap. Janitor." She glanced at the science lab and the various chemicla bottles strewn throughout. "This is bad..."

Marie somehow became lodged in the locker, freeing herself with the usual amount of poise and grace she possessed.

Which happened to be none whatsoever.

She tumbled out amongst the lockers, grinning sheepishly, "Oops...little loud, wasn't I?"

Jerm was back at the basement, tinkering. "It wasn't my fault the effects were so strong...She's overreacting." He glanced at the clock, then pulled out his mike. "Cat? You there? What's taking so long? I just need some Zinc, Diglycerides and a test tube!"
