Portal Three: Hyrule

Door swiveled her head. "Hah." She continues toward the voice, speaking clearly. "Door van Foyer, disowned child of two angry parents."

Malon looked up, "Hm? Nah, just make yourselves comfortable. I'll be done in a jiffy."

"Thanks, Malon." Cat seated herself cross-legged on the floor, looking around the rustic house.

Door ducked under a low-hanging branch, getting clear of the dense underbrush of the thick forest. She could hear them clearly now, and as she stood straight again, she spied a couple figures a distance away.

I can hear her. She is closer now. She’s probably not hostile, but I’d better keep my boomerang at the ready, just in case.

Door was on her guard now, not knowing whether or not the pair had good intentions. One had a boomerang poised for the attack, and the other had a staff...Better be careful, she thought.

Door relaxes a bit, and clears her throat. "Fine day to be wandering, yes?"

Door blinks, taken aback at this one knowing her name so rapidly. But, hey. What's an adventure without risks and surprises? "Sure, why not," she replies.

*OOC: She did introduce herself.*

“Sounds like a plan, then. To my place!” I pause.

“Are you to lead the way?” Kalin asks.

“Well, there’s one teeeensy little problem with that,” I say, blushing.

"I will not make the carpet wet, if you’re wondering. I seem not to leave water where I step,” Kalin said.

“No, not that. I might be just a teensy bit lost…”

"No problem," Door said, smiling. "I know this place like the back of my hand. Where do you need to go?"

"M-kay." Door nods and begins walking south, keeping the sun in her reference. "So, where are you guys from?"

She shook her head, duking under a low branch. "'Fraid not, and I've been all over this big old piece of dirt..."

"Dimensional-whatthenow?" Door raised an eyebrow and shook her head. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Door listened quietly, not speaking as she trekked through the trees. "Interesting," she said at last. "What is your world like, Kalin?" She paused to get her bearings, then pushed onwards again.

"And the Galdesh," Door pressed, intrigued. "They are trying to overthrow the government?"

"Hm. It sounds rather exciting, if you ask me," she commented. "I wouldn't mind fighting for my homeland. Nothing much ever happens here, and if it does...he takes care of it."
